Partnership Program Becomes one of ICDI's mainstream activities

After a successful pilot in 2006, from this year the Partnership Program (PP) becomes one of ICDI’s mainstream activities. ICDI will be able to offer a new service to our overseas counterparts as well as to international development organizations seeking to build the capacity of their colleagues in the field. Within the PP we offer tailor made visits to professionals working in the area of education, children and youth in developing and transitional countries. Each of the visits will deliver a tangible outcome, in the form of a project proposal, policy or research paper, outline of training module or set of resource materials etc. Most of the PP expenses for 2007 – 2008 are covered by a grant form Liberty Foundation; yet on case-by-case basis the visiting partners – or their originations – are expected to contribute to the cost of the activities.
