01-01-2006 The plans to transform the Seventeenth Century Building in which ICDI is housed, into the National Child Rigths Home got a boost during a recent ‘neighbourhood’ meeting organized by Leiden Municipality. Both the neighbourhood and municipality see the initiative as needed and as an enrichment to the town. DCI Netherlands, Cardea, ROC Leiden, and the Stichting Het Heilige Gheest- en Armen Weeshuis, and ICDI are the founding members.
