Children, Youth and Development Course has come to a close
06-07-2005The CYD 2005 has come to a close. Some 32 mid-career professionals coming from Cameroon, Ethiopia, Ghana, Haiti, India, Iran, Kenya, Macedonia, Nepal, Netherlands, Nigeria, Pakistan, Philippines, Sweden, Uganda and USA spent three months in the Netherlands to discuss children’s and youth issues, visit agencies in the Netherlands and Belgium, exchange experiences and, importantly, produce policy briefs, research papers or proposals for intervention. We thank everyone of the partricipants for sharing their good humor, personal histories and insights with us. It never seizes to amaze us how such a diverse group of people can work so well together. The course is a joint initiative by the Institute of Social Studies and ICDI under the ICCYS umbrella. Please click of the attachment for more information.
