Child Rights in Liberia

Haje Paasewe (24) is from Upper and Rural Montserrado County in Liberia. Undeterred by the multiple problems facing this country. Haje sets out everyday to ensure and protect the rights of the children in Liberia. His educational materials are used in schools and are adapted for even the very young; he has no trouble confronting and discussion with community leaders, service providers, school authorities and parents. His child rights awareness campaigns are colorful and reach a wide audience through posters, t-shirts, community debates and cultural performances. We expect to hear a lot more from Haje.
