South African Early Childhood Education trainers on 3-day study visit to ICDI

Between 27th and 29th June ICDI co-ordinated and hosted a study visit for Early Childhood Education and Care trainers from the Centre for Multi-grade Education and the Early Learning Research Unit, Capetown, South Africa.

Sixteen certified Master Trainers in Ukraine

From 8 to 12 June, ICDI's Rutger van Oudenhoven and CARDEA's Catelijne Sillevis were in the Ukrainian city of Lviv to conduct a third and final Training of Trainers for a group of social workers and other professionals working in youth care. After this training they received official certificates from  the Ministry of Social Affairs and can call themselves Master Trainers.

Young Child Rights Advocates presentation 27th of May
13-05-2011

In the week of 23-27 May, seven Young Child Rights Advocates will be at the Dutch Child Rights Home. The young people (between 18 en 25 years old) come from Ethiopia, Zambia, Palestine, Peru, Guatalamala, Pakistan and Liberia and are advocating for the rights of young people in their communities.
