Young Child Right Advocates Rock!!!

In 2011 ICDI organized the 'Young Child Rights Advocates' project, funded by the Dutch Ministry of VWS and Foundation Utopa. In this project we invited 7 young activists from Guatemala, Peru, Ethiopia, Zambia, Palestine, Pakistan and Liberia for a week long visit to the Child Rights Home in Leiden, The Netherlands. During their stay they met likeminded Dutch young people, got training in project development and presented their child right projects to a wider audience during a meeting on the 27th of May. They also received the Young Child Rights Advocates Award and a small amount of money to implement their project ideas back home. Below you can find small reports on these projects that took place in the months June to October 2011.
